On 18 July 2023, the Donald Horne Building was officially opened in Muswellbrook by the Prime Minister of Australia, the Honourable Anthony Albanese. Various government officials, project contributors, industry professionals and community representatives came together to learn more about the facility and to reflect on the vision and opportunities within. The Donald Horne Building marks a major achievement in the Hunter Innovation Precinct, opening doors to inspire future generations, support businesses with new opportunities, and leverage our lifestyle advantages to their maximum potential.
The Hunter Innovation Precinct can be the blueprint for regional areas in transition in Australia, and the Donald Horne Building is the final puzzle piece.
